Now there is no need to install an additional app on your smartphone in order to book foods online. In order to save you from an additional app, Google is now letting users order food online directly from Google search, Maps, and Assistant. Google is going to offer this service by partnering with delivery companies in the US.

Google has added a new order online button on search and maps. This feature would come up whenever the user searches for restaurants. Moreover, the users will also be able to pick the pickup and delivery time and select which service they want to order food through.

If the restaurant supports the feature, then the ordering selections will be made through Google’s interface and Google Pay. Moreover, users can also ask Google assistant to repeat previous orders as well. So you do not have to look for the same order again and again. And a simple voice command would do the job. However, it is still unclear if Google Assistant enabled smart speakers will support the feature or not. But yes, there is a high possibility.

Also, with the launch, Google has introduced five different delivery services at launch. These delivery services are DoorDash, Postmates,, Slice, and ChowNow. In addition to that, Google also plans to add support for Zuppler and others in the future.

Even along with that, Google also has revamped the search interface for Mobile devices. As a result, users will be able to see more and more information. As well as the users will get a clear idea about which information is coming on their way and what is the source.

However, as the company is taking a dig on the food delivery startups. We have to see how other companies perform to save their business.
