By  |

Now iOS users can access the latest version of WhatsApp Beta, where the main feature follows “Facebook Name“. In addition, the version 2.19.90.23 of the app will allow users to use “Memojis” stickers…. Make sure, only iPhone X, XR, XS, and XS Max devices could support animated stickers. According to the website WABetaInfo, this feature would arrive in the WhatsApp next update.

WhatsApp beta Now Takes The Facebook Name With New Features

After the announcement of fingerprint authentication, WhatsApp beta received a new update on Android and the Web version. The news was announced by the WABetaInfo folks, and version 2.19.222 is now available to everyone.

The first major highlight is that the update includes digital authentication for the entire beta public on Android. Also, it may seem like a minor change, but the settings page now shows the new app name: “WhatsApp From Facebook”. As we know, this change is already known in recent weeks and caught the users attention. Because it shows that Facebook is no longer treating WhatsApp and Instagram as standalone applications.

The messenger also received a feature to prevent access for users who are not under 16.  WhatsApp Web also has some minor performance improvements and bug fixes. In addition, photos and stickers sent at once will now be grouped in the conversation window. It may sound simple, but this feature was only available for Android and iOS.

For now, all features are still being tested with beta program users. Therefore, we do not know when WhatsApp will release the news for users of the stable version.
