WhatsApp Beta Hints The Night Mode Feature In New Update
Once again, fresh evidence suggests that WhatsApp may be preparing a night-time version, offering a dark interface rather than the traditional clear interface with subtle notification changes.
Leaks came out from a Reddit user, who said he received a new WhatsApp Beta update that took the application to version 2.19.138. At the end of the update, the user noticed minor changes in the notification region.
First, the texts like “reply“, “mark as read” and the WhatsApp icon appear in black or dark gray. The reply notification bar also appears in black and white colors.
Already WABetaInfo website highlights the version 2.19.85 of the update, which displays the entire app settings page in night mode with different shades of gray and less saturated green. In another version, the application top bar has been updated to gray, but not all areas of the app would be compatible with the new.
Users who want WhatsApp in night mode need to be part of the application’s Beta update program, which may result in some problems, bugs, and messenger errors because it is not the definitive version for the user. Also, it is mandatory to use Android Q for functionality to work, at least in the Beta version. There is no clue on when it could reach end users of the platform. Now we have to wait for more news.
