Some thought that the rumored Galaxy A90 will debut as the top smartphone of the current Galaxy A Series. But now it looks like that is not going to happen. A well-known tipster has shared that there is no device named Galaxy ‘A90’ in Samsung’s records. Furthermore, the rumored device will most likely launch as a part of a whole new Galaxy R series.

The New Galaxy R Series: Coming with Support for 5G and 45W Fast Charging

As per the tipster Steve H McFly, the device which everyone is referring as the Galaxy A90 with model number SM-A90X will actually launch as a part of the new Galaxy R series. Furthermore, he mentions that Samsung is already working on two R series devices. The Galaxy R series of smartphones will most likely come with huge displays as well as triple rear camera setups. The series will also have at least one device which will have support for 5G.

Another tipster IceUniverse has also shared that the device will come with support for 5G. Moreover, the smartphone will also come with 45W Ultra-fast charging support. It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Pro are also rumored to have the same 45W fast charging feature. However, IceUniverse hasn’t mentioned anything about the series of the smartphone.

McFly also shares that the new Galaxy R series device from Samsung will also have a very unique camera feature. However, this very unique camera feature will only come with the non-5G variant of the device. For now, it is not really clear how the new series will be and what unique camera features it will have. Maybe Samsung will improve the existing rotating pop-up camera feature of the current Galaxy A80 or it could be something else. Well, we have to wait for more leaks and renders to understand that. Till then, keep following for more such news.
