Realme 3 with 3 GB RAM & 64 GB Storagte Launched in India

Realme today announced through their web portal that the Realme 3 will get a new variant in India. The new variant will also be an entry-level smartphone of Realme in India. The phone will now come with a 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage starting from May 2nd. In case you don’t remember, the Realme 3 launched in India with a 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage variant. The base variant (3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage) in India costs ₹8,999 and it counters Xiaomi’s Redmi 7

Realme 3: Specifications

The Realme 3 comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display. The display comes with a resolution of 720×1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. There’s also Corning Gorilla Glass protection on the display. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P70 SoC. Depending on the variant you purchase 3 GB or 4 GB RAM will be coupled. It also comes with 32 GB or 64 Gb inbuilt storage.

Coming to the camera, just like any other smartphone of 2019 this one also has a dual rear camera setup. The primary camera has a 13 MP sensor along with f/1.8 lens whereas the second one is a 2 MP depth sensor. There’s also a 13 MP f/2.0 front-facing camera for the selfies.

Other than all these, there’s an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, fingerprint sensor, and proximity sensor. Moreover, the phone also has 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB with OTG support. Finally, Realme has put a 4230 mAh battery to provide enough juice for the device.

Price of the Device

As mentioned, the new variant will be up for sale starting from midnight on May 2nd (That is Realme’s 1st anniversary day as well). Initially, Realme didn’t mention any price for the device on their web portal. However, later they updated the article with the pricing. The Realme 3 (3 GB RAM + 64 GB storage) variant will cost ₹9,999. Which is exactly in between 3/32 and 4/64 GB variants.
