Qualcomm announces Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730 G variants

Qualcomm unveils its new chipsets Snapdragon 665, 730 and 730G. The components are expected to employ on future intermediate smartphones and premium intermediaries in the coming months.

The highlights of these chipsets include three specific features: camera, games and Artificial Intelligence. The intention is to allow features only on high range flagships.

Camera

The first feature is related to cameras. The three new components allow the presence of high-resolution sensors, both for photos – at least 48 MP real – and for videos – support for 4K recordings.

The chipsets also use AI features to introduce effects into the photos. Among them are the bokeh effect; scene detection; and night mode with a combination of hardware and software that allows you to process the image and deliver more brilliance and detail.

Artificial Intelligence

Among AI features available in Qualcomm’s new hardware, four of them are stand out. The first is smart cropping in order to detect the position of the user or object highlighted in the image or recording and cut it to always put the foreground in the foreground.

The AI also acts as a security tool when making payments for virtual applications via face recognition. Another possibility is to develop applications that use augmented reality, such as Google Lens. In-depth AI feature can enhance the user experience with voice assistants.

Gaming

Qualcomm plans to include a seamless experience for gamers with their chipsets. According to global media, there are 2.3 billion players around the world, of whom 95% enjoy titles on mobile devices.

To meet this audience, Qualcomm has equipped its new components with Vulkan 1.1 graphics driver and Qualcomm aptX to enhance video and audio respectively. The company also plans to partner with developers of today’s top mobile games and offer optimizations to smartphones that have their new hardware equipped. Among the graceful games is “PUBG”.
