Motorola RAZR Leak Shows Foldable Display and Box Contents

By  |

After hearing a few rumors about the Motorola RAZR, the foldable smartphone has leaked on the internet. It seems the smartphone has leaked over the internet after the Bluetooth certification. In the past, we have seen some concept designs and a few schematics of the RAZR and those made it clear that the smartphone will be a bit different than the Samsung and Huawei’s foldable smartphones. However, thanks to the latest leaks it is pretty clear what to expect from the phone.

About the Leaks

The Motorola RAZR gets its design concept from original flip phones. Flip phones were very famous a decade ago and Motorola and Nokia sold a lot of them. The display on the device will flip inwards just like the Samsung Fold. However, it will not take a tablet-like shape like the fold. Rather, it will convert to a smaller phone when folded; again like flip phones.

The smartphone will feature a notch on the top to include the front camera and earpiece. It also appears that the battery of the phone will be towards the bottom. However, from the leaks, the outer display isn’t visible and we are not sure if that even exists. From the leaks, it also looks like the phone will be made of glass and metal body.

Motorola RAZR: Specifications

We have seen foldable phones from both Samsung and Huawei. Both of which are extremely costly and not for everyone. However, it looks like Motorola is taking a different path here.  They are using mid-range specifications on the smartphone rather than flagship specifications in order to keep the price of the phone under somewhat control. Motorola has used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC in the RAZR, Along with that, there will be 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The phone will have a 2730 mAh battery in order to provide the juice. Other than all these, there will also be support for 27W fast charging.

In the box there will be an earphone, a charging cable, charging adapter, screen protector, and a USB Type-C to 3.5mm dongle which also means that the device will not include a 3.55mm headphone jack. For now, there are no words when the Motorola RAZR will go live or when the sales will start. But keep in mind that the phone has received necessary certifications it won’t be taking long.
