Google Announces Pixel 4 Smartphones With Soli Chip And Dual Camera

Once again, Google chooses the month of October to unveil its new commitment to dominate the high-end mobile telephony. The Google Pixel thus reaches its fourth generation and we find a double bet again. The Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL are already a reality and what better time than this to take a look back and see what has changed in the last year.

Google Pixel 4: An iPhone With Android

First of all, Pixel 4 and iPhone 11 back covers are very similar. Pretty sure, we don’t know “who copied who”. Face ID, True Tone display, Gestures, dark theme: these are the common features that iPhone and Pixel devices have. The only difference we found is its notch display and mysterious radar chip.

Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL have similar designs. The differences between them are the size of the screen, the size of the terminal and the battery, larger in the Google Pixel 4 XL. Pixel 4 and 4XL are the first smartphones with SOLI radar chip, able to support Air Gestures.

But its 3,000 mAh battery will disappoint us. And then there is no lack of IP68 certification, double stereo speakers and recharge 10W wireless. Pretty much, there is no news on Wireless charging support. Well, one can appreciate its 5G support.

Price & Availability

The price tags of Pixels 4 and 4 XL starts from $799 and $899. The smartphone will be available from October 24 on the Google Store in Black, White and Orange colors.
