Asus 6Z with Snapdragon 855 Launched in India at Price of Rs. 31,999
Asus 6Z has been launched in India. It is the rebranded smartphone of the ZenFone 6 flagship for the Indian market. Because of the “Zen” trademark litigations in India, Asus has to rebrand it as Asus 6Z. The smartphone launched in India by Asus is identical to the global variant. The biggest highlight of the smartphone is its motorized rotating camera at the back that can be flipped to be used as a front camera as well. Apart from the camera, the device also has amazing specifications like Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, and a massive 5,000mAh battery apart from a notchless full-HD+ display.
The Asus ZenFone 6 was globally launched at an event in Spain in May, earlier this year. The device received immense popularity right from its launch because of its innovative camera concept. However, the smartphone is finally launched in India after the month of the official launch.
Asus 6Z Price in India:
The new smartphone from Asus will be available in three variants in India. The price of Asus 6Z in India has been set at Rs. 31,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, Rs. 34,999 for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, and Rs. 39,999 for the 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage variant. People who wish to buy this smartphone will have two color option to buy from. One is the Midnight Black while the other is Twilight Silver. The device will go on sale from June 26 on Flipkart.
Asus 6Z Specifications:
The specifications of the 6Z are similar to the ZenFone 6. It is a dual-sim phone that runs on Android 9 (Pie) with Zen UI 6. This smartphone is also included in the Android Q Beta Programme. The phone has an amazing display of 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and Adreno 640 GPU.
The main attracting thing about the smartphone is surely its camera. It has dual camera setup consists of a 48-megapixel primary shooter with a Sony IMX586 sensor and a dual-LED flash module, as well as a 13-megapixel secondary ultra-wide-angle camera (125-degree) with real-time distortion correction which is normally seen in wide-angle cameras.
