Android Q Beta 3 With Dark Theme Announced, New Features Revealed, and More From I/O 2019

Google revealed lots of things about Android Q on the keynote at its I/O 2019. Android Q is going to be the version 10 of the Android operating system which will be available later in this year. The Android operating system is now running on more than 2.5 billion active devices, and the Android operating system is implemented on mobile devices by 180 smartphone makers. Android Q Beta 3 is Now announced by Google and it is available for 13 smartphone brands and 21 devices among them.

The new features revealed by Google in the Android Q is, focus mode, live caption and all new security and privacy features in Android devices. Android Q Beta 3 is now available for all Google pixel devices which includes the latest Google Pixel 3. The update is also available in Asus ZenFone 5Z, Essential Phone, LG G8 ThinQ, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, OnePlus 6T, Nokia 8.1, Sony Xperia XZ3, Oppo Reno, Realme 3 Pro, Xiaomi MI 9, Vivo X27, Tecno Spark 3 Pro, Vivo Nex A, Vivo Nex S and Xiaomi MI Mix 3 5G.

To get the Android Q Beta 3 update on above-mentioned smartphone devices, you need to visit the android.com/beta and download the update on your devices. In case you are using Google Pixel devices, then you need to enroll for Beta Programme and you will get the update via OTA. Android Q Beta 3 is now implementing a system-wide dark theme which can be enabled from the settings or by turning on the battery saver mode.

Applications running on Android Q Beta 3 will also be having a new dark theme. the update is also bringing the Scoped Storage feature, by which each application will be having a separate folder and does not require to have the permission to access your complete system.
